NLIU wins Second Place at National Parliamentary Debate Competition


Apart from its recent success at Mukarji Memorial where Bishen Jeswant broke as an adjudicator and so did a team comprising of Sarabjeet Singh and Apurv Kumar Mishra, the NLIU Debating Society has more to tell due to it's success at the RMLNLU National Parliamentary Debate Competition. NLIU, Bhopal were declared Runners Up in the competition along with Rijoy Bhaumik being adjudged as ‘The Best Speaker’ and Bishen Jeswant adjudged as ‘The Best Speaker Finals’. The University was represented by Aditi Sara Verghese, Rijoy Bhaumik and Bishen Jeswant. The competition saw the participation of various law schools from all across the country such as GNLU, Amity Law School, Alighar Muslim University, RGNUL, NLIU etc. The keenly contested final round was won by Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala. The competition had 2 rounds of preliminaries followed by the semi finals and then the final.
